Girl Talk is a national peer-to-peer mentoring program led by high school girls for middle school girls that is available at no cost. It provides middle school girls with a safe place to teach them how to be good leaders and improve their self-esteem and confidence during a challenging developmental time. Girl Talk promotes Leadership, Mentorship, and Service.
Discovery High School girls will meet with Richards Middle School girls on Tuesdays from 4:10 - 5:10 pm. Mentoring sessions will begin on October 11th. In addition to the mentoring sessions, community service opportunities and outings will be planned throughout the school year.
The Girl Talk organization provides complete lessons for the high school girls to follow. If you would like to donate to Girl Talk, or obtain more information, please click on this link. mygirltalk.org
